Our love and passion for games has led us to wanting to bring our own experiences to the world. We aim to bring classic experiences such as arcade games to an easy to access platform. Immersive and intense, story driven horror games and our own take on the JRPG genre.
We are currently a small team working with talented freelancers, but we are currently expanding our team due to the plans for bigger projects and the amazing amount of interest in working with us.
After years of freelancing in the games industry for BAFTA award winning Impact Gamers C.I.C our business became an indie game studio. After building a good relationship with the education sector and helping young people make games, it was time to create our own games to share with the world.
After studying game development, I spent a decade working with young people—teaching them how to create games and contributing to other projects. Now, I’m ready to bring my own ideas to life through Sakura Studios. I still want to inspire the next generation and stay tied to education, but my dream has always been to craft and release games that stand out. I miss the golden age of gaming when you bought a game for a fair price with no strings attached. That’s what I’m here to deliver: immersive experiences without endless spend to enjoy. With a love for horror, I’m here to build creepy, unforgettable escapes that grip you from start to finish.

I’ve been a key contributor at the Yorkshire Games Festival for the past five years, bringing my passion for gaming to live events. I also worked in quality assurance and successfully published Football Challengers on Google Play. Beyond hands-on development, I’ve consulted with colleges to shape their course content, facilitated game jams, led work experience days to inspire the next dev generation and even public speaking. One standout project is Bradford the Game, which I contributed to as part of Bradford’s 2025 bid.

As the lead developer for our current projects, I oversee a wide range of responsibilities, including level design, narrative design, animation, and programming. Beyond design, I manage communication with team members and occasional freelancers, coordinate incoming work, network to secure opportunities, and delegate tasks to ensure smooth project execution.
